Offering Counselling and Art Therapy services to clients in and around Melbourne

Rebecca McBurney offers a safe space for people to explore and connect with their own values, strengths and creativity. This can encourage new, more authentic ways of being in the world.

"Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life's desire"

- John O'Donohue

Art Therapy and counselling can be of benefit to people experiencing:

- Anxiety

- Depression

- Grief and loss

- Mental health challenges

- Addiction

- Illness and pain

For Art Therapy, no prior art skills or experience are required as the art-making has a therapeutic focus, rather than an art lesson focus. Support will be provided in the use and exploration of art materials.

Rebecca is a registered Art Therapist and Counsellor with 5 years of experience providing therapeutic support for people in a range of settings; particularly hospital/palliative care and aged care. She has a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice (Community Arts and Health), a Graduate Certificate in Counselling and has completed studies in Clinical Pastoral Care.

I wish to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land where I live, The Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and pay my respect to their Elders past and present.
